I have always had an interest in drawing and painting but caree's & family life took center stage. Now that the children are grown, I began taking watercolor instruction from Richard Wolfgang. With Richard's encouragement I continued to follow my creative talents. Mackinac is certainly an inspirational island and the horses are a major factor in Mackinac's uniqueness. Without the greatness of the horses, Mackinac would be just another beautiful island. It is the magnetism of these hardworking horses that has inspired me to capture their beauty. Look into their eyes and see the purity within.
